This is an exciting time in the energy industry with the transition to renewable energy. Recent government policy documents outline plans to facilitate increasing transmission interconnection between states and the development of renewable energy zones.


The Opportunity


The Learning and Development Coordinator provides services across all levels of the organisation in relation to the scheduling, preparation, delivery, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of learning and development activities at TransGrid. You will also assist with delivering organisational development initiatives where required.


As the Learning and Development Co-ordinator you will:


  • Manage the coordination of all virtual and face-to-face training
  • Source and book appropriate venues and catering
  • Act as the point-of-contact for internal and external training partners and participants
  • Assist with the implementation and promotion of the People & Culture annual learning and development calendar
  • Maintain learning management system catalogue and training records (SAP Successfactors)
  • Edit and test learning content in a variety of formats
  • Manage post-course learning evaluation surveys
  • Manage purchase orders and invoicing
  • Liaise with employees, managers and HR Business Partners in order to maximise program attendance
  • Provide additional support to the Learning & Development Advisor, Leadership & Culture Development Manager and other team members as required


Skills & Experience


What we expect from you:


  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Tertiary qualifications in human resources management, organisational development, and business or a related field and/or relevant demonstrated experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment in similar role
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to use and quickly learn new IT systems and learning technology
  • Previous experience working with an LMS or Human Resource Information System is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and a high level of customer service
  • Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude
  • Outstanding attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Forward thinker who is able to plan ahead proactively
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
