Downer Group is seeking a HR Processes and Systems Advisor for a 12 month parental leave cover within our People and Culture team. Reporting into the Group Manager, HR Processes and Systems, we are seeking a well-rounded HR professional that is focused on standardising and improving Downer’s HR processes and systems to drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.

THE ROLE

  • Develop and maintain standards, procedures and guides used by business stakeholders in the delivery of HR processes and use of HR systems across the business.
  • Participate as active member of project teams and working groups, meeting delivery outcomes and providing useful insights and contributions.
  • Work with a wide-range of stakeholders to understand business requirements and document efficient and standardised processes.
  • Champion and support the deployment of HR processes through change management, communications, networking, and responding to stakeholder feedback.
  • Apply a high level of initiative and good problem solving abilities.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experienced HR Advisor who has the drive to partner with business stakeholders to develop and implement
  • Solid understanding and experience following and using HR processes and systems
  • Comfortable working in an independent capacity and in their task management and process improvement ability
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise activities with proven attention to detail within agreed deadlines
  • Experienced in communicating and partnering with broad range of stakeholders
