Are you someone who wants to make a real difference while shaping and influencing the workforce? Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and purpose-driven HR professional to join our innovative and high performing People and Culture team at WISE Employment!


As a HR Manager you will be part of a successful not for profit organisation that is making a significant impact in the community. This is a true generalist role where you will partner with internal stakeholders, including our Disability Employment Services program, and have the opportunity to impact People and Culture (P&C) projects and initiatives.


You will coach and build people management capability in the business, drive our employee experience and be exposed to learning and development, change management, employee relations, recruitment and much more!

You will be a valued member of the WISE family and receive a competitive remuneration package including base salary, motor vehicle benefit (valued at $12,000 pa), not for profit salary packaging, company laptop and iPhone.


This opportunity is a full-time maximum term contract to 23 December 2021.


To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an HR generalist or management role
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and working with senior leaders on best practice people management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from HR metrics to inform business decision-making
  • High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, think creatively and recommend strategies, ideas and opportunities for resolution.

  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo

  • Strong business acumen and high emotional intelligence to partner and guide all employees

  • A passion for creating and driving positive and highly engaged cultures
  • Experience deepening engagement and developing an outstanding employee experience
  • Advanced communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Project Management experience of People and Culture projects
  • Demonstrated qualities of compassion and empathy with a commitment to a customer-centric workplace culture
