As our Early Career Talent Consultant, you will play a business-critical role in partnering with our HR and business teams to develop and implement our Graduate efforts across Optus. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in recruiting graduates, as well as experience in developing Graduate / Early starter programs, you will manage the end to end recruitment program for Optus Graduates, Interns and Cadets.

You will be a team player, with a professional attitude, and someone who understands urgency and loves working with people. You're a positive, upbeat individual with a good base of customer service experience combined with the relevant talent / recruitment background – does this sound like you?

Additionally, you will have the ability to adapt and work in a flexible, collaborative, and high-pressure environment. You will love a challenge that allows you to think strategically outside the box, but also enjoy running an end-to-end process that ensures you deliver the best early career talent to Optus.

Your ingredients for success ...

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources or Business discipline;
  • Minimum 5-8 years of Early Career Talent or Talent Acquisition experience with demonstrated experience coordinating or managing Graduate programs;
  • Solid experience managing high volume recruitment and assessment centres;
  • Successful track record in developing and executing Graduate programs;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, underpinned by strong IT literacy, problem-solving and reporting ability;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with urgency; &
  • A self-starter with excellent project management and customer service focus.
