Salary: $75,000 plus 9.5% superannuation

The client is looking to fill a full time permanent position for a qualified and skilled Quality Assurance Manager to work within a supportive and friendly team and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

About You

As a professional with sound experience within a quality and assurance role, you will be experienced in enforcing quality and compliance across the organisation. The incumbent will have the strong interpersonal and leadership skills needed to influence and guide the team.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification with at least 2 years’ experience in quality assurance role. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. The suitable candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of compliance and quality improvement.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Auditing and ensuring policy and procedures are in compliance with ISO 9001 standards
  • Implementation and management of quality related continuous improvement activities
  • Auditing of process to established compliance and legislative standards
  • Advising operational staff on conformance requirements
  • Conducing all activities in compliance with relevant legislation, including EEO and OHS
  • Working with operational teams to facilitate efficient and effective outcomes
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of OHSAS 14001
  • Maintaining strong corporate governance and policy management practices across the organisation
  • Ensuring compliance of quality systems e.g., change controls, deviations, incidences, customer complaints etc.
  • Creating quality assurance plan that defines service requirements, measuring performance and making continual improvements
  • Ensuring the organisation effectively manages its risks and opportunities
  • Driving the organisation’s quality and compliance strategy
  • Undertaking root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and practice development
  • Work cross functionally to ensure effective investigation and assessment of quality issues

To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need to possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Exceptional computer, organizational & communication skills
  • Experience in either Labour Hire would also be an advantage but not mandatory
  • Ability to influence and lead others
  • Significant and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Strong influencing skills including the ability to promote quality and continuous improvement at all levels and across all areas of the organisation
