An opportunity is now available in our small but highly functioning People & Culture team. What makes this role so exciting is, not only will you partner with your client groups to provide commercially focused, end-to-end HR support, you will have the chance to realise the direct impact your work has on employee engagement and business results. This is a hands-on, operational role with a perfect mix of strategic planning and execution.

Grays is in growth mode which means you will have the opportunity to be involved in M&A activities and support us as we increase our international presence. You will work across our national business with both blue-collar and white-collar employees.

Your key focus areas will include:

  • Developing and actively managing all aspects of the employee life-cycle
  • Recruitment, retention and employer branding initiatives
  • Improving Induction and On-boarding
  • Supporting Reward and Recognition programs
  • Engagement survey activities with insights-based action planning
  • Being the trusted advisor for any ER, IR related issues
  • Supporting in the development and embedding of Company Values
  • Learning and development planning with an initial focus on leadership capabilities
  • Contributing to and executing on our People Plan
  • Developing and maintaining documentation, policies and procedures

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a similar role (IT HR experience desirable)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Natural communicator with a proven track record in coaching and mentoring
  • Experience with HRIS – Employment Hero beneficial
