About North East Link

The North East Link Project will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and south-east.

About the opportunity

Being completely embedded and partnering with a defined team allows this role and you, to operate at full potential. Working in a true partnership style, you and the Senior People Partner provide comprehensive, tailored and effective people related support, advice and solutions because you confidently understand the priorities, requirements and goals of your team.

As we ramp up delivery of the project, you will be able to fully oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle as you source, secure and retain critical people for this major project. Ongoing, the People and Culture Advisor will play a pivotal role in creating an environment where people can bring their whole-self to work by implementing key people initiatives and supporting a Senior People Partner in the delivery of high quality, HR advice and activities in a fast paced, matrixed project organisation.

About You?

Maintaining flexibility and resilience amidst changing priorities, an exceptional eye for detail and a solutions-oriented attitude, will enable you both success and satisfaction in this position. Your organisational, project management, relationship building skills and ability to triage stakeholders will be well demonstrated from your experience in a similar role, in addition to possessing;

  • capability managing both variety and repetition in day to day activities, whilst seeking opportunities for continuous improvement,
  • technical expertise in the delivery of HR best practice approaches, policies and people centric initiatives and a solid commitment to integrity, and;
  • a genuine desire to build and strengthen collaborative and transparent relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
