The Opportunity:

Genesis Capital is an Australian private equity firm focused solely on healthcare. We are passionate about partnering with founders and management teams to grow market-leading healthcare businesses. We are interested in hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead talent acquisition for our growing portfolio of companies. You will work alongside executives in our portfolio companies in identifying and recruiting appropriate talent in a mixed of clinician / front-line, and executive / management roles. Our portfolio companies include:

  • Better Medical / Smart Clinics: 70+ clinic, 450+ doctor GP group
  • Totally Smiles: 16 clinic dental group
  • The Banyans: A premium addiction treatment provider
  • General Homecare: Aged and disability in-home care
  • Avance Clinical: Clinical research organisation managing clinical trials
  • Agilex Labs: Bioanalytical laboratory servicing research and biomed industry


Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to our portfolio teams on end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles
  • Manage candidates sourcing using a variety of channels including LinkedIn, job ads, headhunting, employee referrals, meetups, and events, etc.
  • Ongoing management of recruitment channels and databases
  • Managing the candidate experience including expectations throughout the recruitment process so they have a superior experience.
  • Negotiating offers of employment, conducting background checks and ensuring a successful on-boarding experience for all successful candidates.
  • Assisting in other recruitment initiatives such as employer branding activities ranging from sponsoring events, hosting meetups, graduate recruitment, and development programs, creating creative job ads and campaigns, etc.
  • Building internal leadership capabilities; strengthening the bench; building an internal pipeline of talent.


What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably with a combination of agency and in-house experience (obtained ideally with professional services or healthcare related companies). Minimum of 3 years recruitment experience.
  • You are a technology proficient recruiter - which means that you are on the forefront when it comes to using various technologies to help you out with recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting for a range of positions within healthcare – at all levels: front-line workers through to Senior Management. You would ideally have a solid network and reputation in this space.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, etc
