FTS Group is seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced HR and Talent Acquisition professional.

In this role you will support and guide all facets of HR and people related matters to the business units you support. As a people business, talent acquisition is core and will be approximately 50% of your role. FTS Group is growing and this is an exciting time to join and collaborate with a capable HR/Talent team. Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Plan and implement HR and Culture programs to drive acquisition and retention of our people in the business units you support and the wider Group;
  • Run employment lifecycle steps &- hiring, contract management, on-boarding, employee support, performance management and off-boarding;
  • Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and requirements;
  • Use sound sourcing methodologies to access the best candidates in the market, market roles internally and externally, pipeline talent, and manage the recruitment process through to offer stage;
  • Work to ensure an excellent candidate experience, and guide hiring managers to ensure they follow process and best practice at all times;
  • Assist with developing and embedding HR policies and procedures including feedback/review process, salary review process and banding;
  • Keep up to date with IR and WHS legislation changes to ensure compliance and recommend required actions to senior management;
  • Contribute to our Diversity and Inclusion programs;
  • Live our FTS values daily and be a champion of our culture across the business.
What you need to bring to the role:
  • 3+ years&' experience in an HR generalist role and 3+ years&' experience in Talent/Recruitment (or minimum 5 years combined)
  • Degree in HR, communications, public relations or a related field
  • Experience in the IT industry
  • Experience in embedding successful HR/People policies and processes
  • Ability to advise leadership on HR/Performance matters
  • Demonstrated ability to be agile and responsive.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to establish valuable partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
