About the role ...

As the Capability and Curriculum Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the Leadership, Culture & Capability (LCC) team. In this fast-paced and diverse role, you will be working with a range of stakeholders and be responsible for designing and developing the employee learning journeys across the business for capability areas.

You will work on strategic workforce planning capabilities to develop pathways for future roles and develop capability and curriculums in line with key priorities. You will also own the development of programs related to curriculum into Optus U including relevant customisation, experiences and execution.

Additionally, you will demonstrate your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills in assessing functional and divisional capability uplift requirements and to successfully monitor and assess metrics to support stakeholder engagement, reporting and continuous improvement activities.

Your ingredients for success ...

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources or related discipline, with a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment highly advantageous;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a busy Learning & Development and / or Instructional Design capacity;
  • Project management experience designing and developing of employee learning journeys across the business for capability areas;
  • Facilitation experience and exposure to workforce planning for capability mapping;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment with matrix reporting structures;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills; &
  • Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders and influence at all levels of business.
