The Role

We have a truly exceptional team at Bare. From our arrangers that provide guidance and support through the most vulnerable times in a person’s life, to our engineering team that builds products and tools to help people navigate their End Of Life elegantly, we are all driven to make the experience seamless and affordable.

With our growth, we are looking for a People Operations Lead to make sure we continue to build an amazing culture within Bare. Specifically, we’ll need someone who can oversee and develop our Recruitment, Onboarding, HR and Office Management. As a fast growing startup we are looking for someone who can wear a lot of hats. You’ll likely take as much enjoyment out of building a new recruitment process, as you would arranging a quarterly kickoff event for our team.

What would you do?

  • Work directly with the founders to improve administration processes, and office management
  • Partner with leaders to build talent brand strategy and drive recruitment
  • Manage general HR tasks, including generating offer letters, managing payroll, maintaining employee files and HR management of new and exiting employees
  • Build best in class employee review/feedback processes
  • Develop and manage an engaging onboarding process for new hires
  • Drive culture with new initiatives and celebrations
  • Make Bare a destination employer by creating an amazing place to work

What you’ll need?

  • 2+ Years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a fast-growth or start up environment
  • Experience working with technologies such as Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Lever etc.
  • Be enthusiastic about celebrating employees and building feedback loops
  • Tertiary HR qualification highly regarded
