Our client is a leader in their field providing services to the insurance industry.

They are now looking for an HR Coordinator to join their successful HR team. This is a high volume, task-orientated administrative role that provides HR administration support to both the HR team and the Learning and Development team. 


You will report to the Head of Human Resources and have the opportunity to learn and advance your HR career. The successful candidate must be customer service centric, engaging and interested in a career within HR. 80% of the role is HR generalist administration duties and 20% is L&D support.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Arrange onboarding for new employees
  • HR administration and updating of employee records and paperwork such as contracts, promotions or change of terms and conditions etc
  • Respond to employee HR general inquiries with support from the HR team
  • Maintain organisational charts
  • Run reports from the HRIS 
  • Manage basic return to work cases
  • Manage all administration for the L&D team and employee L&D records
  • Manage the L&D Training Calendar and schedules


The skills and attributes we are seeking include:

  • Ideally 2 years experience within a similar role in a fast paced, high volume professional environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR or similar is desirable
  • Moderate understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures
  • Strong administration skills
  • Have a structured approach to your work with high attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office, including V Look Ups etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
