About the Role
City of Parramatta has an exciting opportunity for a Remuneration, Benefits & Rewards Specialist to join the team on a permanent full time basis. We offer flexible work conditions and would consider offering a part time position for the right candidate.


Working closely with the Chief of People & Culture Officer (CP&CO) and the Leadership Team, you will explore and examine information from multiple sources to assist in developing new initiatives and governance reporting. Your responsibilities will include:


  • undertaking Job Evaluations (Accredited/Qualified in Mercer IPE)
  • review of Job Evaluation process
  • review of Pay Rules within system (Award Interpretation)
  • review of salary structure (identify inconsistencies and propose recommendations to remedy/improve)
  • designing, developing and implementing the Remuneration, Benefits & Rewards (RB&R) strategy
  • work closely with internal stakeholders including the broader Payroll and People and Culture team.
  • maintaining strategic and sustainable remuneration policies, procedures and systems to support the attraction, development, motivation and retention of our workforce.


About you

To be successful in this position you must hold a degree qualification in Human Resources, Business or related discipline. Ideally with a minimum of 5 years experience in a related role, you also have:

  • proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to change.
  • strong communication and excellent relationship building skills.
  • innovative and continuous improvement approach whilst maintaining a high level compliance and governance
  • excellent project management and analytical skills


What’s on offer?

We are offering an attractive salary range from $104,714 - $115,300 plus superannuation. This is a 35 hour per week permanent full time position.City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
