About The Client


They are a new age finance broking group with a focus on broker development and business mentoring. They emphasise the three cornered nature of our business – being the connection between the borrower the finance broker and the lender.


Location: Remote, reporting to Sydney, Australia [AEDT]


Engagement: Full-time role, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Will be a current member of MFAA or FBAA and able to provide a clean separation letter from their existing Aggregator.
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to consistently write average volume of at least $2 million per month.
  • This is a commission only role and, subject to meeting an average minimum volume of $2 million per month, the broker share of commission will be 90% of Upfront and Trail. An initial induction period may be available by negotiation. If the broker leaves the Company, trail commissions are transferable.


Location


Ideally the candidate will be located in, and continue to operate in one of the Capital cities. A strong candidate in a major regional city would also be considered.


Development Potential


Potential exists for the right candidate to substantially grow their business by becoming a Business Manager. This role involves the recruitment and management of less experienced brokers, training, mentoring and assisting the development of their businesses and earning a share of the upfront and trail commission of this team at the rate of 10% to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance & Mortgage Broking Management) and at least two years’ experience as a broker in the residential lending field but a successful candidate will probably need to have more experience.
  • The ability to operate autonomously will be essential.
