The Opportunity

The Culture & Development Team is responsible for the design and development of key frameworks, tools, programs and processes in the areas of leadership, culture, development and talent which will ensure that UNSW staff have the required skills and capabilities to successfully deliver Strategy 2025.

This role sits within the Culture & Development Team and is focussed on effectively leading facilitation, coaching and projects to increase leader and staff engagement in leadership, culture, development, talent and wellbeing programs and initiatives.

About The Successful Applicant

This is the perfect role for a highly experienced and confident facilitator. To be successful you will have exceptional facilitation experience along with the ability to run programs and coaching skills. More specifically you will have:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification with substantial relevant experience and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Extensive experience facilitating, providing expert advice and coaching, especially in relation to culture & development initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead end to end project management, relationship management and delivery, including the capability to manage programs focused on specific outcomes that engage staff across diverse groups, working both autonomously and collaboratively across multi-function teams.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to facilitate group discussions and deliver presentations.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, HR systems and databases. Excellent attention to detail, including time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and to work under pressure to deliver outcomes.
  • An interest in and passion for culture & development initiatives and be a positive contributor to organisational culture and change.
