LAVO is embarking on a major growth trajectory as they scale-up to deliver exciting new products and enter new domestic and international markets. The Role

This newly-created role will play a critical role in LAVO's team and will have ownership for the operational and strategic talent agenda ensuring productivity and efficiency throughout the business. The People & Culture Business Partner role represents an opportunity to contribute and build a centre of excellence with a focus on shaping and leading the people and culture strategy for LAVO.


Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the People & Culture Business Partner will have an organisational design and talent management focussed remit. As such the successful candidate will act as a business partner to LAVO's executive leadership team, developing and leading organizational strategies to actualise LAVO's core values of sustainability, integrity, inclusivity, diversity, passion and innovation.


Your Background

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills and experiences in the following areas:

  • People & culture leadership: A highly experienced and innovative human resources manager with a demonstrated track record of success managing and building a high performing people and culture function in scaling, high growth businesses. Experience in the energy sector, partnering with technical, multi-site workforces, is desirable.
  • Results orientation: Passionate about performance, outcome focused and able to take ownership of results.
  • HR operational experience: End-to-end HR lifecycle management experience, with an ability to balance hands on and operational requirements with HR strategy development, with strong capability in organisational development, change management and developing organisational culture, and learning and development, particularly management and talent development.
  • Relationship management skills: Demonstrates a positive, proactive style; a transparent and collaborative communicator who will adapt well in a dynamic environment, draw on intuition and show resilience.
