The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Performance and Reward Consultant to join our Reward and Services team in either our Melbourne, Southbank or Sydney, CBD office on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the GM Reward & Services and Reward Manager, you will play a key role in managing the implementation of the APA Performance, Reward and Benefit strategy through improved remuneration governance, programs and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual remuneration review process including relationships with systems providers, communications with key stakeholders; annual performance outcomes including award and vesting outcomes for STI and LTI equity plan
  • Conduct general remuneration analysis.
  • Rationalise and upgrade APA Position Descriptions along with managing the governance of templates and new/updated PDs.
  • Manage the internal job evaluation process (Mercer IPE methodology) and Job Grade outputs and analyse data outputs from various market benchmark surveys.
  • Provide support to the Reward team and liaise with the Finance team in validation of data used to populate tables in the Annual Remuneration Report.
  • Manage the relationship with APA’s preferred suppliers of key benefits such as the Superannuation Plan, Executive Health Check and Salary Continuance.
  • Support key executive remuneration and equity plans.
  • Manage the annual performance cycle and link to reward
  • Manage BAU activities including global mobility, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Maintain market awareness of key trends and governance practices to ensure APA remains compliant and competitive.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Commerce, Finance, Psychology.
  • At least 7 years working in reward related roles, ideally in an ASX listed environment
  • Expereince working with Performance systems.
  • Strong numeracy skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, pivot tables and data formulas.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to understand financial modelling.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and respectful relationships within the reward team and all stakeholders.
