The Senior HR Business Partner is an exciting role, which will partner with the business in the development and delivery of robust people initiatives and organisational change across the business.

A proactive senior partnering role, which will drive high levels of strategic HR activity across the business through senior stakeholder engagement and influencing. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional, who will partner with Executives and their Senior Leadership teams. They will demonstrate high levels of proactivity, personal initiative, commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

The candidate will have a track record of working both at pace and on their own initiative across the full HR agenda in order to deliver results. They will also be able to deliver through others, in a way which inspires action and focused delivery.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Accountability for delivery of the end to end local people plan, driving tangible business value across specific business lines
  • Supports leaders as strategist, coach, change agent, curator of culture and organizational structure architect
  • Challenge and consult with senior leaders and executives on their divisional strategy to identify and mitigate key people issues and align to the overall Link Group objectives
  • Take a broad view of the organizational outcomes and analyse multiple sources of operational, financial, commercial and people related information to assess the current challenges facing your client group and determine potential solutions
  • Utilise data to drive insights into key areas of focus for the business and to assess the impact of your people strategy and how it is delivering on the business outcomes
  • Develop, input into and proactively deliver robust people initiatives across the business, drawing on experience and insight to drive commercial impact whilst building sustainability through robust delivery and great HR practices
  • Proactively partner with the business unit Executives and their senior leadership teams, including HR Centers of Excellence, in order to develop and roll out people initiatives across the full HR agenda
  • Evaluates our workforce needs to recommend changes to People & Culture strategies & adapt existing programs & policies
  • Reinforce our global operating model by ensuring the divisional people plan is regionally appropriate and addresses key concerns for our global workforce.
  • Collaborate with other parts of the HR function to facilitate the delivery of annual processes that drive greater business value through people i.e. compensation processes, annual performance management process and learning programmes
  • Support and advise on ongoing employment policy development and employee relations activities i.e. disciplinary, grievance, dismissal. Also including the ongoing compliance to employment regulation and law
  • Champions talent development and movements to build organization overall capabilities and bench strength
  • Work with recruitment teams to drive employer branding initiatives and to enhance the overall talent acquisition process. This will also involve playing a direct role in the sourcing and assessment of suitable candidates for key positions

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Degree-educated or relevant professional qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Technical competence in all aspects of employment law and policies
  • Experience in working proactively with senior executives across the full HR agenda, with visible proactivity and personal initiative
  • Broad experience in the design & delivery of people initiatives, including the mobilisation and delivery of HR related projects 
  • Strong decision making capability, which is coupled with high levels of personal initiative and proactivity
  • Execution and delivery focused , with a personal approach that emphasises teamwork and collaboration
  • Resilient and demonstrates ability to ‘stand your own ground’
  • Able to influence key decision-makers and to challenge when necessary
  • Prepared and flexible to travel in line with business needs
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage risk for the business
  • High level of energy, personal initiative and passion for change, able to generate excitement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead others in a fast paced environment, whilst prioritizing multiple tasks, across different locations
  • Personal commitment to and visible role modelling of the organisation's behaviours and values
  • Cross cultural awareness and the ability to operate with a flexible approach that translates to other geographic regions and cultures
