Are you a HR Superstar with a broad knowledge of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to employee remuneration, evaluation, performance management, incentive schemes, and more?


We are looking for a "switched on go-getter" with a passion for HR, someone familiar with labour legislation who is looking to make this role their own. This HR Generalist role will be far from one-dimensional. The goal is to ensure the HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organisation as a whole.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and monitor HR strategies, systems and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Perform orientations & onboarding
  • Implement policies, procedures and standard template documents; monitor efficiency, effectiveness and compliance.
  • Develop, review & update employment contracts and EB agreements
  • Manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain remuneration and benefits program
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
  • Management of employee documentation and records 
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Manage internal communication projects (like job satisfaction surveys)
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues
  • Track key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Managing of HR & IR tender response requirements
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management


Essentials

  • Proven work experience in a similar role (minimum 5 years)
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality & discretion
  • Leadership skills
  • Exceptional communicator, negotiator and influencer; able to effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels to deliver business outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of employment/ labour legislation 
  • Understanding of human resources policies and procedures
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
