Hays Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a Tasmanian organisation with a state-wide presence, in the search for a People & Culture Partner on a permanent full-time basis.

Your new role

As a member of the People & Culture team, this role will see you partner with the business to develop and implement strategic people plans to support organisational objectives. This exciting opportunity requires the successful candidate to work within set processes and procedures, yet also be able to think outside the box and operate in a diverse, challenging and sometimes ambiguous environment. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Support business leaders to identify, develop, manage and retain talent.
  • Proactively support the business to manage organisational change.
  • Effectively manage and resolve complex staff issues and disputes.
  • Provide accurate and effective support, coaching and feedback to leaders in all aspects of managing their people.
  • Lead specific projects as determined by the business and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a proven track record in a HR/ People & Culture Partner position that involves complex people matters. You will have the ability to successfully develop and implement strategic people and workforce plans and provide coaching and support to leaders in all aspects of people management.

You will be strong team player and be comfortable collaborating with colleagues to achieve required outcomes and objectives. Your communication, influencing and engagement skills will be to a high standard as you will be working with all levels of the business.
