People Advisor FFI

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

An opportunity to join the exciting and energetic Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) team, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fortescue Metals Group.

FFI is leading Fortescue’s decarbonisation and growth agendas and developing a portfolio of projects centred on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals and other value-added products. FFI is underpinned by Fortescue’s world class expertise, operational excellence and proven capability to drive future growth.

Reporting to the People Manager, this role will be responsible for providing HR/ER services and advice on application and implementation of Human Resource policy and process for the FFI Team.

Key accountabilities will include:
Providing timely advice and assistance to key stakeholders on all aspects of HR practices and policies regarding resourcing, remuneration, performance reviews, case management, People systems and processes
Providing an objective service to all performance and disciplinary matters ensuring that procedural fairness is always applied
Analysing data and providing ad hoc reports as required
Updating and maintaining the organisational chart on ‘Success Factors’ on a regular basis
Providing monthly progress reports on HR projects, initiatives and KPIs
Conducting HR project improvement work as required

Qualifications and skills required:
At least 3 to 5 years HR generalist experience within the mining/resources sector
Demonstrated experience working effectively within multi-cultural/diverse work environments
Knowledge of employee relations and case management compliant with current legislation
Knowledge of Fair Work legislation including Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Skills in SuccessFactors system
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline desirable
