Innovate, design and deliver best practice Procurement learning experiences

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Procurement Capability to join our Procurement team to support the learning outcomes, design learning content and be responsible for ensuring our teams deliver “best practice” procurement service to the business.

Reporting to the Manager Change, Capability and PMO this is a great opportunity to lean into your strong learning & development background, project management and change management and influence best practice across a large complex organisation. Your remit will include but not be limited to:

Engaging with the global Procurement community and stakeholders to complete a capability and change needs analysis
Complete current state assessment of all Procurement learning content - Ariba, MyLearning, Rio Tinto College, Element
Design a blended Procurement capability and change programme - face to face, virtual self-service
Partner with Rio Tinto learning partners to build self-service learning bites
Design capability and change approach and content for the best fit learning delivery mediums
Facilitate and deliver face to face learning to uplift capability in support of Procurement improvement programme and change to process and technology (Perth, Brisbane and Singapore)
Identifying opportunities for development and rationalisation of systems and the adoption of a common / consistent approach to learning.

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will:
Have previous exposure to the Commercial or Procurement value chain with a solid understanding of sourcing and contracts is (highly desirable)
A degree in Business, Procurement, HR or Management
Be a team-oriented individual who can comfortably work autonomously and with ambiguity
Be pro-active and results-driven and use your collaborative approach to influence business outcomes
Have experience in engaging with key stakeholders to undertake high quality learning needs analysis based on business objectives
Be experienced in the application of adult learning principals as well as a willingness to be open to changing learning and development techniques including the use of technology
Be experience in presenting, facilitating, coaching and developing to achieve operational capability outcomes where required
Have previous experience developing learning frameworks with specific experience in Procurement highly regarded
Have experience in change management and have an adaptable and flexible approach to work to enable you to work across multiple time zones
