$99,164 PA (plus 9.50% super) PTA5

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is one of the world's largest, and most highly regarded, community-based emergency services organisations. Whilst our firefighters are the cornerstone of CFA services, what goes on behind the scenes is just as important in helping to protect lives and property.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Manager, HR Shared Services, you will be the steward for HR people metric reporting and analytics for CFA including data extraction and analysis and the development and delivery of HR Dashboards and reports. You will provide specialist advice to key senior stakeholders on a broad range of matters relating to CFA workforce – in particular this will be specialist advice based on HR analytics and reports to support the design and implementation of policies, guidelines and enterprise agreements.

You will also contribute to continual HR process improvements through the delivery of HR reporting and analysis that identifies trends associated with the current processes and considers requirements and improvements that will be needed in the future workforce.

About You:

To succeed in this key position, you should hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management or other related fields and/or proven experience undertaking a similar role in a large and complex organisation. This experience will include delivering on contemporary strategic HR reporting, management and planning and particular experience fulfilling the role of internal reporting consultant which will give you the confidence to work across directorates as an HR reporting expert.

You will possess a deep analytical capability and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insight for end-users. Your knowledge and experience with using Power BI to develop Dashboards will be strong as will be your working knowledge of project management disciplines. You will have a proven proactive approach to continuous improvement and highly developed interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
