CleanPeak Energy is a fast-growing renewable energy company, known for its innovative delivery and operation of Solar, Energy Storage and Thermal Plants. We are looking to build a collaborative and highly motivated workplace operating in the dynamic and rapidly changing world of renewable energy.

CleanPeak has created a new part time role of Human Resource, Payroll and Training Manager. The successful applicant will be working in a fast paced and changing environment to drive the day-to-day HR and Payroll functions as well as managing our training programs to ensure our company values and culture are nurtured, communicated, and embraced across the business.

The successful candidate will have strong HR experience and be looking to join a dynamic team, on a part time basis and have the ability to build rapport with the team and maintain relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be self-motivated and driven. 

Responsibilities

· Review and update HR policies and procedures that are consistently applied to and meet legislative and business requirements

· Assist in the processing of monthly payroll – including superannuation and Payroll tax

· Assist with the management of any staff award issues, including EBA negotiation

· Facilitate the recruitment and selection process for new hires

· Manage onboarding of new team members

· Manage processes for departing employees

· Establish and manage development plans and employee training

· Advise on suitable salaries and remuneration

· Promoting best practice HR principles

· Manage activities around performance management, misconduct and grievance

· Maintaining employee records, files and registers

· Consulting to the executive team on HR issues

· Develop and manage employee performance appraisal process, including assisting with goal setting and performance reviews

· Create, organise and manage in-house initiatives to promote staff well-being

· Review and update staff competency register

· Review and update staff training requirements

· Manage employee feedback and report to senior management to action as required

· Promoting company values and shaping a positive organisational culture

  • · Assisting in the development and delivery of Plant Induction sessions


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
