Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their Sydney office. As an Account Manager you will partner with HR Directors and Senior Executive Service level heads of HR to identify opportunities to enhance their people strategies, build and present solutions, close business, manage the growth of new and existing accounts and increase You will work collaboratively with our consulting team to formulate innovative solutions, driving growth in the public sector territory.

This opportunity would suit a professional with experience selling HR solutions to C Suite , open to discussing the role over a conversation if you see your skills align.

Key Accountabilities

  • Retain & grow existing clients within the territory, as well as acquire new clients through business development
  • Develop a territory plan covering retention, cross-sell/ up-sell and new client acquisition. Refresh & review half-yearly
  • Develop account plans for key clients, including activities to increase current solutions, and future diversification within the account portfolio, with the aim of revenue retention and growth. Refresh and review account plans quarterly
  • Review client usage monthly and flag risks and opportunities to internal stakeholders early
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with client stakeholders and develop joint action plan to stimulate usage, value and impact of solutions offered 
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline in our CRM (SFDC) so that it is up-to-date at all times, record key activities and provide sales forecast monthly
  • Manage and act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of high-profile clients - understand client’s needs in terms of business challenges/ objectives and talent outcomes
  • Work with clients to translate solutions offered and service offerings in talent acquisition and talent management as the best means to meet their business challenges/ objectives and talent outcomes
  • Onboard new clients and new hires within existing clients’ talent acquisition and talent management teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Talent Assessment/ Human Capital Management industry
  • Previous experience working in, or providing services to, the NSW State Government or public sector
  • 7+ years of relevant job experience – preferably experience in selling solution or services to NSW State Government
  • Degree in Business and/or Industrial/Organisational Psychology preferred
  • Knowledge of psychometric assessments/solutions or the ability to articulate the value of competencies and objective assessments throughout the talent lifecycle is preferred

  • An understanding of strategic HR and the Employee lifecycle, including how Talent Assessment, Talent Mangement and Development solutions can drive people and organisational outcomes
  • An appreciation for working in a B2B/B2G sales environment, including working to sales targets, activity based performance management practices and a customer centric approach to service and delivery
  • Strong relationship management skills, and demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels, from senior heads of function through to individuals who drive key initiatives
  • A positive team mindset, collaborative, combined with the ability to manage activity autonomously
  • High level of energy, a keen business acumen, resilience, adaptability, and excellent communication skill
