Our Client

Our client is a highly regarded multinational corporation who manufacture and sell office technology and software solutions. We are delighted to be partnering with them exclusively in their search for their next Human Resources Payroll Officer.

The role 

Due to ongoing expansion, our client are looking to add a valued HR Generalist/ Payroll Officer to their team. This individual will become a core part of the business, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately whilst assisting the HR team in their day to day function.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Payroll Officer is a forward thinking and energetic payroll professional that is looking to elevate their career in a growing multinational organisation. To succeed in the role they will need:

  • Knowledge of Sage MicroPay is essential to prepare/process monthly payroll
  • Month end reporting and compliance requirement including working closely with finance to ensure the timely and accurate recording and reconciliation of payroll accounts
  • Timely and accurate completion of PAYG, superannuation, termination payments as required
  • Maintain the accuracy of the payroll and employee self-service system including employee records, hierarchy changes, system improvement opportunities etc
  • Data entry of new employee information
  • Responding to pay queries
  • Provide an efficient recruitment service by analysing staffing needs in terms of skills required
  • First level HR support to queries 

Candidate Criteria

  • Experience with Sage Micro Pay (highly regarded)
  • Experience with ConnX (highly regarded)
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Officer in a similar role
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Computer literacy
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Financial and commercial awareness
