What experience are we after?

Our Employee Experience Manager will be a natural leader with strong interpersonal skills and a people-focused mindset. The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience building and executing HR strategies relating to engagement and employee satisfaction preferred.
  • Previous experience in designing and implementing employee experience drivers and methodologies, with proven success in improving employee retention.
  • Technical skills and knowledge across a range of HR disciplines, including learning and development and analytics.
  • Strong system, reporting and analytical experience.
  • Project management experience - from start to finish.
  • Experience working within the Mining and Resources industry is advantageous.
  • Australian residency or be a citizen with full working rights.

What would your main assignments look like?

Reporting to the HR Director, the Employee Experience Manager will work collaboratively to improve, design and implement EX, and where necessary coach regional team leaders.

Specifically, your main assignments will include:

  • Design and shape our employee experience (EX) strategy from the ground up.
  • Be the Energy and Resources employee lifecycle expert.
  • Develop and deliver transformation projects and initiatives related to our sites that will increase engagement and support our employee experience strategy, partnering with HR Business Partners and Site Managers.
  • Maintaining an ongoing feedback loop once projects and initiatives are implemented and making changes when necessary
  • Responsible for the ongoing growth and refinement of Onboarding and Training Center, induction and onboarding.
  • Devleoping Site Manager induction programs
  • Deploying Team Voice (pulse surveys) to People Managers and providing ongoing coaching and support to them.
  • Conducting face to face stay and exit interviews with employees who are in critical roles and or high potential incumbents.
  • On a monthly basis analysing onboarding, milestone (3, 6, 12) and exit survey data and creating recommended actions.
