Position Purpose

To provide administrative support to the People and Culture team and a high standard of customer service in areas including, human resources, recruitment, training and safety, enabling us to work together towards our organisational purpose:

To create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities.

Good Sammy's is also in an exciting phase of implementing a new HR Information System, and you will play an essential role in the project implementation and migration of data through to the new system.

About the role:

Provide general administrative and processing support to the P&C Team
Management of employee files
Assist with a range of recruitment related tasks as required including:
processing police checks
reference checks
processing communications and updates to candidates
Assist with the coordination, booking and communication of training for employees and volunteers
Enter and maintain training records
Assist with safety administration as required
Provide general support during events as needed, including Inductions, Group Training and Job Expos.
Work with the People and Culture team to establish initiatives that support a positive and engaged work culture.
From January 2022, this role will work with the HR team providing administrative support to the HRIS implementation project and migration of data.
Selection Criteria:

Relevant qualification or working towards in an area including Human Resources will be an advantage.
Strong practical administration experience and organisational skills
Great customer service & communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Fun, energetic and approachable personality
Creative, collaborative and solution focused
Ability to exercise initiative, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Good written communication skills, with high attention to detail.
Worker Screenings

Must have a valid police check from the past 12 months (essential)
Have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or are willing to obtain one
