It is an exciting time to join the Amazon Operations team in Australia. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a HR Data Analyst based in Melbourne, to support the Australian HR Operations team with reporting insights and analysis. You will work across a range of HR data points, have exposure to global Amazon best practice standards and work across the Australian Operations network during a period of growth. Reporting to the HR Program Manager you will be required to undertake various HR reporting and analytical tasks. This a hands on role which requires someone who can prioritise daily and has strong attention to detail.

Core deliverables:
· Network wide HR data analysis and collaboration across our sites to determine business insights
· Ownership of AU Operations reporting to identify trends in leave, attendance, attrition and compliance
· Auditing and maintenance of employee data across the network as required
· Collaborate with our third party labour provider to streamline and enhance reporting insights for our casual workforce
· HR data ownership for weekly business reviews and monthly talent reviews
· Support HR Program Manager with a variety of HR initiatives and projects, including adoption reporting and measuring success of new projects launched in the network
· HR administration support for AU Operations network
· Maintenance of immigration and visa database and related employment requirements
· Maintain and update ongoing analytical products and reports (such as HR and recruitment dashboards)
· Accountable for ensuring data integrity and accuracy
· Ad-hoc administrative support as required


· Degree qualified in Business or HR related discipline
· 2+ years’ HR administrative experience, analysing and interpreting business insights from HR data
· Strong analytic skills
· Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
· Proficient using Microsoft excel
· Ability to engage with all levels of the business, reporting findings and challenging the status quo
· Demonstrated experience providing insight on business performance leading to positive change
· Experience working with ambiguous and complex problems
· Curiosity to understand the end user requirements and demonstrated problem solving abilities


· Experience working on business change, system applications and infrastructure related projects
· Experience researching requirements and information gathering from all key stakeholders, consulting with technical and business SMEs
· Familiarity with project management and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau)
