St John of God Midland Public & Private Hospitals are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior HR Business Partner to join the team working on a permanent full time basis.

SJG Midland Public & Private offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services including emergency medicine, critical care, day chemotherapy, paediatric care, aged and stroke care, maternity and general surgery to the east metropolitian and Wheatbelt regions.

Our 307-bed public hospital is operated under a public-private partnership between the State Government and St John of God Health Care .

In this role you will Lead and execute workforce planning and change management initiatives to support the achievement of local, regional and national operational and strategic priorities within legislative requirements and organisational frameworks.

You will provide support and facilitate outcomes on a wide range of HR objectives, including improving caregiver (employee) engagement and capability to develop a high-performance culture.

The Requirements

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource related discipline or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Sound generalist HR knowledge and experience across a variety of areas, including performance management, education and change initiatives.
  • Experience in partnering with leaders to shape organisational culture and build cohesive, high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, advise and influence leaders.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical skills including the ability to identify trends and translate into business outcomes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Sound computer literacy including MS Office Suite and Human Resource Management Systems.
