The Opportunity

HBF is seeking an experienced HR professional to partner with Business Adoption and the broader Transformation team.

The HR Consultant is responsible for identifying people impacts arising from the business transformation programme delivering associated people initiatives in partnership with business leaders. The role will co-ordinate and oversee the delivery of those initiatives and ensure they are delivered to programme timelines.

The role reports to the Head of Business Adoption whilst working closely with People and Corporate Affairs to ensure that HBF is adequately prepared to be self-sufficient, from a people perspective, in managing and using the new platforms the programme is set to deliver. It will be responsible for people resource requirements, HR work requests including recruitment, retention, reward, organisational effectiveness and HR generalist support.

This is a broad ranging role requiring expertise across a variety of areas of business including digital transformations, adoption of new ways of working (e.g. agile ways of working) with strong general HR knowledge and experience.

About You

The ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in Human Resources or related discipline with previous exposure to organisations that have undergone transformations. Whilst you’ll be an experienced HR practitioner, your specific skills will include change management, stakeholder relationship skills and deep experience in the delivery of strategic programmes.

Key to your success will be your ability to understand the difference between people impacts arising from transformation programme and business as usual activities.
