The ACMA is seeking someone who is organised, motivated and ambitious and demonstrates their human resource (HR) and learning and development experience in a dynamic team environment.

APS 6 - $81,826 to $92,407 plus 15.4% superannuation

We are seeking someone who is organised, motivated and ambitious and demonstrates their human resource (HR) and learning and development experience in a dynamic team environment.

This role will work with the Assistant Manager, Workforce Planning, Capability and Inclusion to deliver key priorities under the ACMA’s People Strategy 2021-2024 and will be involved in supporting the development of capability and workforce planning across the agency.

have experience managing learning programs
demonstrate how they set and drive key work priorities within agreed timeframes
work with independence to deliver quality learning and capability outcomes
manage multiple programs / projects simultaneously
be motivated to take ownership of programs or projects and see them through to completion
be able to prioritise work priorities and maintain attention to detail
support our culture and values of being purposeful, curious, questioning and collaborative
have experience in HR.

A Human Resources qualification is desirable but not essential. What we are looking for is a candidate that is energised, professional and keen to contribute.

The HR Officer (Learning Coordinator) supports capability building, through targeted learning and development activities. This includes the management of the ACMA’s learning curriculum. This role is vital to successfully deliver some of the capability outcomes identified in ACMA’s People Strategy 2021-2024.

The HR Officer (Learning Coordinator) engages with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to identify and develop appropriate learning activities, support and build relevant networks and communities of practice. This role is required to build and maintain relationships with service providers, other agencies and ACMA staff.

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for:

coordinating and supporting our Leadership Development Framework
coordinating and supporting the ACMA’s talent management program
developing and implementing capability building activities and learning and development programs
providing advice and responding to staff learning queries
planning the agency’s training calendar and curriculum
managing the agency’s learning management system (Learnhub)
contributing and reporting on the agency’s mandatory and recommended learning.
