An exciting opportunity to work within a business improvement area developing contemporary HR practices for the organisation

Our client is a dynamic and innovative government organisation about to embark on a very exciting and busy period.

An opportunity is available for an experienced HR individual to work within a business improvement area and assist in projects and programs that will have a workforce, people and culture impact across the organisation. This broad role will see you researching, designing and delivering contemporary workforce strategies to ensure future focussed and responsive HR functions are implemented.

Along with the Senior Business Partner, you will be involved in evaluating recruitment, talent management, learning, performance and culture strategies, as well as implementing effective recruitment and people management practices and processes. The role will also involve:

Assisting in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines and other resources to deliver business outcomes.
Providing quality advice and reporting on relevant people and culture issues to senior management.

This is an interesting and varied role requiring excellent written and verbal communication and skills.

To be successful for this position you would need to demonstrate:

Experience developing a broad range of contemporary HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
Sound knowledge of contemporary workforce strategies including recruitment, L&D, performance and culture.

This contract is available for a period of 6 months to commence as soon as possible.
