JOB DESCRIPTION

NRW are seeking an experienced,dynamic and forward-thinking Senior HR Advisor tojoin our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Lead SeniorHR Advisor; this position will support the HR team across thedelivery of a full range of Human Resources services.

In This Role You Will Beresponsible For

Provide accurate information and advice to stakeholders on all areas of HR management and industrial and employee relations. Lead the effective application and interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, employment contracts and other legislation. Contribute to Enterprise Agreement related activities for negotiation preparation and Fair Work Commission approval. Maintain accurate knowledge of all relevant HR legislation in conjunction with a full understanding of NRW’s policies and procedures. Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices which provide effective, consistent, and timely delivery of HR services to support NRW. Assist with the analysing and planning of the recruitment process to ensure that the HR services provided meet the company standards. Lead and undertake grievance, disciplinary, investigation and redundancy processes, inclusive of administrative duties. Generating accurate activity and forecast reports. Manage and participate in HR related projects. Coach and mentor leaders around all HR related issues and initiatives.
To be considered for thisposition, you must possess the following, as aminimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ related discipline or equivalent. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a generalist HR capacity within the resources sector, with a strong background in industrial and employee relations. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace. Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability manage multiple priorities to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability interpreting employment contracts and industrial instrument/s, including knowledge of relevant legislation. Strong data analytics skills, including the use of MS Excel. Hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality and credibility.
