Contract until December 2021 with possible extension
$55-65/hour + 9.5% Super
We are seeking HR/Recruitment professionals with program management experience to join our Federal Government client as graduate and Entry Level Program Officer and support their workforce capability. This role will be APS6 and is contract opportunity until November 2021.

The Role
The successful candidate will work across the Graduate and Entry Level Programs office to help support the Management Teams to deliver entry level programs.

The resource will be responsible for assisting with the delivery the entry level programs, and will be responsible for program management activities, such as learning and development, work placements, management of human resources issues, relocations, establishments, reimbursements, allowances, and continuous business improvement activities.

The successful candidate will work across the Graduate and Entry Level Programs Student Programs team. In the next six months, the team will advertise, market and recruit candidates for the 2021 & 2022 Entry level Programs team along with the management of the current program participants.
Duties and responsibilities will include;

Contribute to the development and delivery of People projects, strategies and initiatives against plans to achieve business outcomes.
Accountable to research, develop and provide verbal and written advice on complex People issues to support internal and external stakeholders.
Review and apply relevant legislation, People policies and procedures to achieve business outcomes.
Work collaboratively in a team based environment actively participating in and contributing to team meetings, and supporting the work area and team objectives.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to service delivery of People functions across Defence.
Interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures and escalate the more complex People issues
About You

You will be able to demonstrate the follow :
Experience in a human resources / recruitment environment, preferably within a public sector organisation;
Knowledge of HR systems such as SAP and e-Recruit or a learning management system;
Program Management experience highly desirable;
Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders;
Ability to work within the team and adapt quickly to a changing environment;
Ability to respond to an prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner.
As this role is within the Federal Government, applications are required to hold either an Australian Citizenship and have a Baseline Clearance.
