The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced generalist Senior People Advisor to take up a position providing support to our team across Queensland. Reporting to our Northern Region Human Resources Manager, this is an opportunity to step in to a role which will prepare you for future career growth and opportunity.

This role is a key position with responsibility to partner and provide a wide range of generalist HR support to the Northern Region team, working with the leadership team across multiple sites in Queensland. There will be opportunity to undertake special projects, too. You will be part of a small team of HR professionals working collaboratively in a busy environment.

About you
You are confident in your abilities, an excellent communicator, and a customer focused team member. Ideally you have previous experience working within a fast paced industrial/ construction environment and are results focused, resilient, resourceful, proactive and flexible. Strong planning and organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise work and deal with competing demands is essential.

  • Tertiary qualification in the Human Resources/related discipline;
  • Previous experience guiding, supporting, coaching and developing leaders and employees in HR matters;
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant HR/industrial relations legislation;
  • A passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation;
  • Experience building partnerships within the business to ensure a collaborative approach with all stakeholders;
  • A reputation of delivery, attention to detail and providing high-quality solutions;
  • A high level of positivity and energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to make pro-active decisions and to take action reflective of business objectives, and;
