The Role
The APS5 Workforce Management Officer for Commercial Business Directorate within CMPS Branch will have the opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of workforce management tasks within a fast paced and dynamic working environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced workforce professional to rise to a new challenge that will give you the opportunity to excel in your field.

This position is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex workforce tasks. This includes but is not limited to the coordination of Branch recruitment actions, managing the Branch organisation structure, oversight of Branch wellbeing initiatives, coordinating WHS requirements and contributing to strategic workforce planning and reporting.

This role will give the successful applicant the chance to sink their teeth into a wide variety of workforce tasks that will provide excellent development opportunities, and push you to be a trusted and respected expert in the workforce field.

CMPS Branch under Ships Division is an exciting and complex environment to work in, offering a rewarding career in one of the most dynamic organisations within CASG. We work across both Acquisition and Sustainment environments to develop and deliver products into new shipbuilding programs and to provide update/upgrade products to the existing RAN fleet, giving staff exposure to a wide variety of high profile maritime projects.
