We are currently seeking an energetic, friendly, and proactive professional to join our team in the position of Internal Recruiter for an initial 6 month contract.

Based at Maxima’s head office in Hindmarsh, the primary focus of this role is to provide professional and timely recruitment services to all Maxima departments.

What will you be doing as an Internal Recruiter at Maxima?

  • End-to-end recruitment for internal Maxima vacancies
  • Creating and building talent pools and maintaining a database of suitable applicants who fit the Maxima culture
  • Sourcing candidates, ad writing, phone screening and shortlisting potential clients
  • Managing both hiring manager and candidate expectations to secure win-win outcomes
  • Responding to candidate inquiries in a helpful and timely manner, keeping them informed about the progress of their applications
  • Working with hiring managers on their recruitment needs, candidate requirements and develop their staffing solutions.
  • Participating in recruitment events; job fairs, trade shows, etc
  • Developing great relationships with team members and candidates

What do you need to bring to this role?

  • Experience in recruitment, (agency or internal)
  • The ability to juggle priorities, keep projects on track and predict what is going to happen next
  • Attention to detail, along with the confidence to give feedback and suggest improvements
  • Advanced stakeholder and client relationship management skills
  • A pro-active mindset, focusing on seeking solutions to problems
  • A team mentality, driven and enthusiastic with a positive approach to collaboration.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide variety of personalities.
  • A willingness to laugh and make light of the challenging times and the resilience to push on.
