Our client is seeking to engage HR Case Management Officer on a contract for 3 months.
The People Strategy and Operations Sections are custodians of the workplace, workforce and employment policy framework and coordinates related compliance and accountability requirements to ensure the ACMA has the workforce capability, competency, and capacity to meet its objectives. Using the outcomes of the capability review, the APS reform agenda, and the objectives in the ACMA Corporate Plan and People Strategy both sections provide strategic and operational advice to the ACMA Executive on workforce, workplace and employee related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Supporting Executive resourcing strategies to drive organisational viability, and address capability and capacity challenges
Providing timely and responsive HR advice and services for payroll, recruitment, rehabilitation management, work health and safety, and complex employee matters
Leading industrial consultation processes and driving employee engagement through leadership support
Developing, implementing, and evaluating workforce data to develop workforce and capability plans and initiatives
Maintaining contemporary workplace, workforce and employee frameworks, policy, and guidelines
Providing business intelligence - analytics, trends, forecasts, options
Assisting to manage the WHS and rehabilitation management systems policies and
processes, ensuring compliance with legislation, best practice principles and driving
continuous improvement of our safety culture
Developing and maintaining a good understanding of local issues to ensure case
management assistance meet the needs of business areas, ensuring this assistance is
consistent with corporate strategic priorities and legislation
Acting as adviser to Executive and managers regarding people management
Managing complex case matters including rehabilitation, performance, conduct, workplace
grievances, underperformance, and WHS (compensation and non-compensation)
Delivering responsive and coordinated early intervention and rehabilitation of employees in
accordance with the legislation, policies and guidelines
Promoting and raising awareness amongst managers and staff of WHS initiatives and
Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships with
stakeholders (internal and external), including anticipating and responding to needs and
expectations, and
Undertaking and contributing to projects individually or as part of a team across a broad
range of people management issues.

Mandatory Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
Qualifications or equivalent experience in human resource management and/or Injury Management (Desirable)
Have completed, or be willing to complete, Comcare's 'A Rehabilitation Delegates Guide to Case Management' training Qualifications (Desirable)
