This high-profile home building company that has become trusted builders in the industry. They are now seeking an experienced HR Manager/ Office Manager for a permanent opportunity

Your new role
The HR Manager is responsible for all HR duties, these duties include:

  • Recruiting new staff
  • Maintaining and updating HR management software
  • Creating, implementing and maintaining staff training plans and organizing training for staff members
  • Offboarding employees
  • Setting up all new staff member requirements including onboarding and induction of new employees
  • Managing and review probation period in conjunction with the direct manager
  • Review and manage staff performance with direct manager when required
  • Undertaking annual performance reviews
  • Create, implement and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Updating and maintaining HR processes
  • Manage any personnel disputes
  • Stay up to date with HR requirements and legislation including office WHS

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR
  • 3 years work experience in similar role
  • Personable, approachable, empathetic and presentable
  • Experience in creating training and learning documentation for employees
  • Proven time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to learn new software systems
  • Experience in email and document management
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
