IN A NUTSHELL

Bellroy's mission is to inspire better ways to carry; use business as a force for good; and help the world – and our crew – flourish. We're growing, and our People and Culture team is on the search for a Recruitment Coordinator to help us to run our recruitment process, find excellent people and ensure a positive experience for every candidate, no matter the outcome.

Working with our Recruitment Lead, y ou'll help with all parts of the recruitment lifecycle from reviewing applications, interviewing candidates to onboarding and beyond. Our process involves psychometric testing; a couple of interviews; and a 4-6 hour work simulation that helps potential recruits to experience their work environment and team. It's a pretty rigorous process because we care deeply about finding the right people for every role and want to make sure we are going to really enjoy working together. It isn't a standard way of recruiting so you might not have experience coordinating a process like this yet but this excites you and you've got the skills to pick it up quickly.

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK YOU MIGHT HAVE:
Worked with the recruitment lead to brainstorm how you might find the right candidate for an unusual role - figuring out where to advertise or how to network your way to the right candidates
Paired with the recruitment lead to conduct a few initial video calls with potential candidates - learning how we approach interviews and getting a feel for the candidate, and making sure the candidate gets excited about the role
Reviewed applications in Greenhouse and made a short-list of candidates you think would be a great fit for a role
Identified a delay in a high-quality candidate moving through the process, and removed that roadblock
Worked with the recruitment lead and office assistant to develop a new process for work simulation setup and taken ownership of this process
Given helpful and honest (but always kind) feedback to a candidate about why we chose not to move forward with them
Caught up with a new Bellrovian to make sure they are settling into their new role and have what they need

THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU MUST POSSESS…

12+ months experience in a recruitment coordination, HR assistant, or administrative role (your experience may have been gained as a resources or recruiter at an agency)
Incredible attention to detail - ensuring jobs are accurately advertised, candidate details are kept up to date and that time zones are considered are all essential in this role
A natural ability to network, build relationships and easily connect with all types of people
Excellent verbal and written communication with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
A bend towards progress. You're both creative and process-driven, and always on the search for ways to make things work better
The ability to wear many hats and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
A great attitude, you'll bring energy and a positive attitude to work every day

LOCATION AND HOURS

This role is a full-time role based in our Fitzroy office
