We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate HR Business Partner to join our passionate and dynamic People Experience (PX) team.

Reporting to the General Manager of People, this role will be responsible for providing support, advice and coaching to our Head Office team surrounding HR accountabilities, along with assisting in the development and implementation of People Experience strategies in our Head Office.


  • Coach, empower and develop managers to take responsibility for implementing quality HR practices within their area of responsibility.
  • Ensure effective ER outcomes by providing advice to managers regarding the resolution of issues including performance management, grievances, investigations, role changes and remuneration reviews.
  • Support the continued development of people management capability in the business by providing the information and tools needed to succeed, including coaching in their application where necessary.
  • Support in the implementation of initiatives and services to meet business objectives to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Ensure all PX (HR) services and initiatives within your portfolio meet identified needs and are implemented as required by People Experience and other Centres of Excellence.
  • Provide support and manage projects within the People Experience space.


  • 5 years’ experience working in a HR Generalist role in a fast-paced organisation.
  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Human Resources or related degree highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other employment legislation, and experience in interpreting and applying awards, agreements, policies, procedures, and other industrial instruments.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Business Partner or HR Advisor delivering advice and support services, along with contemporary solution-focused HR initiatives to a fashion retail business.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, advisory and coaching skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships across organisations and add value through positively influencing people management capability and practices across the organisation.
