The purpose of the People Solutions Advisor – Talent role is to provide efficient, best practice recruitment services and insights to deliver on Nine’s talent attraction and engagement strategy. Additionally, the role isto provide effective coaching and guidance to employee

s and people leaders through people policy, processes and systems that all lead to an excellent people experience and enables a high performing culture. This is achieved by establishing our business’ requirements and delivering consistent, personalised and tailored support according to our agreed service delivery with a key focus on our customer: our people at Nine.

  • Manage P&C queries for employee and people leader support
  • Support our employees and people leaders by providing consistent, credible and timely HR advice according to the relevant industrial relations instrument (Award, Agreement, policy)
  • Provide effective and efficient best practice recruitment services through effective partnership and consultation
  • Deliver on the employment brand through talent attraction, optimising employee/candidate experience and engagement for Nine
  • Provide employment market expertise, sharing insights and providing recommendations
  • Deliver on the talent engagement plan for each unique business division; translating and sharing stakeholders’ / business strategy to candidates
  • Proactive partnership with HR and TA BPs, providing and gathering insights and recruiting trends
  • Deliver on defined initiatives to optimise recruitment practices and the Nine brand, ensuring alignment to P&C strategy
  • Support with the build of talent pools to enhance diversity and Nine’s ability to respond to growth and emerging needs of the Nine workforce
  • Ensure we remain compliant using relevant Nine policies, laws and regulations
  • Identify and contribute to the continuous improvement and optimisation of the HR Shared Services function to drive success and effective solutions across the P&C team and our people at Nine
  • Conduct regular reviews of knowledge management articles on our intranet; identify opportunities to improve the people experience at Nine, keeping in mind our self-service utilisation and delivery of services


Required experience, capabilities, skills

  • Demonstrated success in customer service
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a TA/HR role
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships internally and externally
  • Experience using recruitment and selection assessments, tools, systems, tech
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, reporting and managing risk
  • An energetic, creative contributor with pragmatic problem solving skills
  • A strong focus on continuous improvement and optimisation
  • Resilient and able to work in a high paced, high pressure environment
  • Passionate about the customer and people experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to defined SLAs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills

Desired education/qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification(s) in Human Resources, Employee Relations or Law
