The role

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our HR Assist team based in Karawatha. You will be the first point of contact to provide quality customer service to internal customers to ensure professional and efficient operation of the Human Resources Operations. Accuracy will be of the upmost importance within this role, along with the understanding of compliance and processes.

As the System Administrator, you will:

  • Respond to queries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Escalate queries where appropriate to Workday specialists, Regional HRS teams, Centres of Expertise or Strategic HR Business Partners.
  • Actively support and participate in continuous improvement of procedures and practices.
  • Provide relevant reporting and analysis to identify improvements and potential issues.
  • Ensure day to day administration activities are completed in accordance to HR Assist’s KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Effectively collaborate with the broader HR Operations team (Regional HR Operations Team, HRIS Reporting, Workday Administration & Payroll).
  • Other general administrative duties as required.


About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in administration or systems implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, confidentially and with sensitivity with people at all levels.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Process driven and strong attention to detail.
  • Prior working knowledge of Workday or other HRIS systems and MS Office.
