Your new team

Our People & Culture team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is passionate about providing our employees with the best possible employee experience. Working within our P&C recruitment team, you will join us as Recruitment Administrator and be responsible for providing high level and efficient recruitment and employee services administration support to the Recruitment team.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Administrative role managing transactional HR/Recruitment related administrative tasks

  • Provide a customer-focused service to employees and managers, responding promptly to queries received through the Recruitment inbox and telephone appropriately.

  • Ensuring the recruitment process is compliant, efficient and effective.

  • Maintain electronic filing systems for all records generated in the People and Culture department

  • Assist recruitment tasks - posting adverts and supporting new employee on boarding activities.

  • Monitoring staff compliance checks and following up where required to obtain new checks.

  • Update HR forms, manuals, templates and ensure the P&C intranet page has up to date information.


Your skills and experience


You will have proven experience working in a fast paced customer service setting performing a variety of administrative functions. Your outstanding and genuine customer service will ensure you are successful in this role.

  • A positive "can do" attitude with excellent customer service skills

  • Proven experience in busy administration role

  • A high sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail

  • Experience of, or a familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle highly desirable

  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes

  • System Savy with excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • A service orientation with the ability to build strong and credible relationships
