We are seeking to hire a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing Human Resources team located in Lane Cove West, New South Wales, Australia.

The Human Resources Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities helping to plan and administer important functions to continue to build an incredible team in alignment with the Company's strategic goals and objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to join us and help shape and further develop our candidate and employee experience.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, offboarding, including exit interviews, entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the facilitation of a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Partner and collaborate with our people leaders to foster an energetic and supportive culture.
  • Provide continuous improvement suggestions to enhance the efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience.
  • Play an integral role in the development and implementation of cross-functional human resources initiatives.
  • Provide support to leaders and team members to facilitate high levels of performance and achievement of business goals and organizational priorities, including developing individual and team strategies for future talent needs to ensure scalability.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation all other employee-relations matters.
  • Assist with organizing and facilitating of the training for annual employee performance reviews.
  • Provide reports to assist with the development of proactive solutions, programs, and policies that support the needs of our teams.
  • Assist with the completion of the annual WGEA reporting for Company sign off.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying the best talent to grow our Australian team, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resource or equivalent.
  • 2+ to 5 years progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Able to maintain and protect personnel data and associated issues confidential.
  • Strong attention to detail and resourceful mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian labour legislations; including past experience dealing with the FairWork Commission.
  • Hands on experience with annual WGEA reporting.
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  • Strong team player and can do attitude with a willingness to assist team members as needed.
  • Able to be agile in an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of employees and managers.
  • Drive change and challenge process improvement in a positive way.
  • Proven experience working with and influencing senior leaders.
  • Able to link actions to the company strategy and performance.
  • Take initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Analytical and embraces technology.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Holds a current and valid passport.
