CBC Staff Selection is seeking a versatile, customer focussed recruitment consultant to provide end to end recruitment services within FNQ.

Your Exciting, New Role

Due to an exciting period of growth and expansion, we are searching for a new superstar to join our own highly successful recruitment team based in Cairns.

Reporting to our Recruitment Manager, this role will form an integral part our high energy team. You will focus on developing positive relationships that will enable you to recruit successful candidates into a variety of positions across the Far North. Your duties will include:

  • End to end recruitment, including business development, client management, candidate resourcing, registration and administration.
  • Source and develop new contacts within new markets;
  • Target new business opportunities within the existing client database;
  • Manage a very busy, fast paced and constantly changing recruitment desk with ease and professionalism;
  • Attend regular networking functions, events and conferences relating to the business;
  • Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly targets to achieve marketing goals within the organization.

The Skills You Bring

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrated sales or recruitment experience;
  • A customer focussed approach to both candidates and clients which is authentic, genuine and coupled with honesty and integrity;
  • A genuine passion for business development;
  • A responsive and adaptable approach to an ever-changing environment;
  • High level of self-motivation and a drive to succeed;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proven track record in a client/customer focussed environment;
  • A responsible and caring approach, providing clients with superior service at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all mediums but predominately via telephone and email.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic telephone and internet based environment resulting in exceptional customer service and process turnaround.
  • Confidence and maturity to liaise with candidates and clients at all levels in addition to internal stakeholders and external agency groups.
