Ampion currently has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our fun and motivated Talent Acquisition Team. This newly created role is instrumental in supporting the talent team as we help drive the business forward during our next phase of growth.

Whether you are looking to start your recruitment career or currently in a recruitment resourcing role and looking to further develop your career, our team will provide you with the tools and support to help you excel your career and achieve your goals. Ideally you will have a general interest in HR and recruitment, be super organised, love to help other people and great at building relationships. You will also have the ability to multi task, and enjoy the day to day challenges of recruiting in a talent short market!


  • Scheduling interviews and phone screens
  • Working directly with candidates and hiring managers
  • Updating candidate records and job posts in ATS
  • Providing follow-up feedback to candidates during hiring process
  • Perform background and reference checks
  • Support Head of Talent by preparing reports on new hire metrics
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience
  • Assist with new hires with onboarding and inductions
  • Take ownership of our employee referral process, including managing bonus requests
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed


  • Experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Assistant, Contractor Care or similar
  • Familiarity with Job Boards and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a professional attitude
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Outstanding customer service and business relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to set priorities
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or relevant field desirable
