The Opportunity

Due to recent movement within the HR department, a permanent position has become available to work in a high-performing and highly visible Head Office team. This is a truly diverse, generalist position that will see your skills as a HR Advisor stretched and developed. Supporting a number of sites from their Australian Head Office, this manufacturing company will offer you the chance to build your repertoire of HR skills and help you bridge the gap for your next career move.

The Role

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Enable leaders to utilise HR support through the desired operating model
  • Implement and embed strategic initiatives as directed by the HR Manager
  • Process recruitment activities in accordance with company policy and procedures and ensuring supervisors comply with requirements such as pre-employment screening, reference checks, mandatory certificates, conflict of interest etc.
  • Manage staff on-boarding processes by completing payroll notifications and letters of offer for new staff, ensuring commencement paperwork is fully completed and accurate e.g. superannuation, taxation etc
  • Support and oversee Workplace Health & Safety issuesas well as WH&S Reporting
  • Be aware and up to date with any appropriate legislation changes
  • Support, deliver and oversee remuneration and performance reviews

The Individual

As the successful candidate you will possess:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience
  • Appropriate tertiary education
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • An ability to travel Inter-State
  • A resilient personality
  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative
