Your Exciting, New Role
In this role, you will contribute to the effective development, management and delivery of a professional occupational health, workplace safety and workplace rehabilitation and return to work services.

The Skills You Bring
To be considered for this role, you will require a proven ability in demonstrating the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience:

Work in alignment with the Health and Safety Teams to achieve consistency of health and safety strategies, service delivery arrangements and performance outcomes;
Coordinate, plan and develop health and safety resources, training, workshops and presentations;
Analyse injury, WorkCover, and human resources data to enable an effective and efficient return to work program and establish risk profiles and prioritise audit and inspection processes in facilities for the organisation;
Lead, coordinate and review the daily activities of the Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinators in the Rehabilitation and Injury Management team to ensure effective service delivery;
Provide effective comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and injury management consultancy services to facilities and staff;
Coordinate the implementation of health and safety initiatives, strategies and programs to facilities to meet policy requirements and to improve overall organisational health, safety and wellbeing;
Coordinate and review the investigation of serious accidents in facilities with Occupational Health and Safety staff, and facilitate the early intervention of rehabilitation and injury management processes;
Investigate and Coordinate factor responses to Psychological and psychiatric injury claims;
Coordinate and develop responses for common law notice of claims on behalf of the organisation;
Provide leadership and direction to the Team, foster and encourage a workplace environment that is outcomes focused and instil a culture of continuous improvement through effective communication, training and flexible workforce management practices.
Develop, implement, review and report on occupational health, workplace rehabilitation and return to work policies, guidelines, procedures and networks consistent with organisational policy.
